# Updates & re-downloads

> Download your files again, get new versions from your customer portal and bring an update into a site you've already changed.

## Download again

Your files and invoices stay in your [customer portal](https://polar.sh/gadworks/portal). Sign in with the email address you used at checkout. Polar handles payments and downloads for Artizan Templates.

## New versions

When we release a new version of a template, it appears in your customer portal next to the version you bought. The template's page lists every version and what changed in it under **Version history**.

## Bring an update into your site

An update never changes your site by itself. Your copy is yours, and you decide what to take.

1. Download the new version from your customer portal.
2. Unzip both versions into separate folders and compare them:

unzip ferro-v1.0.0.zip -d v1.0.0
unzip ferro-v1.1.0.zip -d v1.1.0
diff -ru v1.0.0/ferro v1.1.0/ferro
```

3. Apply the changes you want to your project.
4. Run `pnpm install`, then `pnpm build`, and check the site locally before you deploy.

The version you bought stays in your portal, so you can always go back to it.
